  • Thanks to our organizing efforts for the midterm election, we saw a 6% increase in voter turnout in our target areas, an increase in youth voter turnout 4% above the national average, and wins in Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, U.S. Senate, and U.S. Congress races.

  • With the Center for Popular Democracy, we developed and released a 30-page report, Failure from Freedom: Dismantling Milwaukee’s School to Prison Pipeline with the Youth Power Agenda.

  • Our students won the fight to get the Milwaukee Public School Board to reject a reckless and discriminatory policy that would have further criminalized Black and Brown youth in our schools, by mandating police be called just for suspected criminal activity with no evidence of wrongdoing. This would have put more Black and Brown students directly in the hands of the police. Our campaign and students were highlighted in national outlets like Blavity, The Intercept, and ThinkProgress.
